Mami Ando graduated from Musashino Art Universit, and is a painter who prefers super flat abstraction. Though most of her works are abstract paintings, she becomes to be interested in the contrast between facial appearance and inner-mind, as well as extremity and complexity, thus she constantly creates works of characters’ faces that of abstract space, and challenges the expression ways of representational space.
